Feeling Broken

Today I'm feeling broken.  Broken like a china cup that somebody purposefully smashed on the floor - that kind of broken.  I don't know why I can have so many strong and positive days and moments, and then "whammo"  I feel like a broken mess.  I'm pretty sure this is part of the healing process of divorce, but it hurts.  I think for so long I kept so much emotion bottled up inside and now I'm finally free to feel.  Maybe I'm becoming a person again.  Maybe it's okay to feel sad and broken.

I know you wrote this over a week ago, but I only got around to reading it today. I hope and pray you are managing to piece together your life one small piece at a time, and slowly but surely as you do, you will find that before too long you will be whole again.
Only now, even more beautiful and precious than before because of the added character of the mended crack lines. Giving you your own unique and special character.

Thank you so much for your support. Most days I do okay, but there are times when I have melt downs that kind of sneak up on me. That was one of those days. I\'m still looking for a full time job along with facing the beginning of divorce proceedings in January. I also have a senior in high school and a 22 year old son who lives with me who is severly multiply impaired. I\'m trying to give all of this to God, but I have to admit that it sometimes just seems totally overwhelming. I\'m trusting that God will see me through to the other side of this. Hugs to you!

I know how overwhelming it can become, so just try to tackle one thing at a time. If you look at the whole big picture it seems impossible, but if you hand it all over to God and just take on one task at a time, it somehow eases up, you find the strength and you find you get things done. And you feel stronger for it. I am sure God will put the perfect ob in place for you somehow.
Big ((hugs))
