feeling blessed

Good morning to all of my dear friends,   I haven't written in a while, have been very busy with my sisters and the holidays. I read comments every day and this site has been such a blessing to me.  Both of my sisters are home now and that is such a relief. Very scary time for me.  Steve is doing good, if fact he commented that he had the best cycle ever on this round of Sutent!  So yes we are so blessed!  We are trying to give to others this Christmas season. We worked at the toy store one day this month. Thats at the local baptist center. We organized toys for the families to come in and choose toys for those who could not afford to buy this year. That is a lot of families because of the economy.
I love going to church this time of year, for a lot of reasons but I love singing the Christmas carols. Everyone is in good spirits but it can be a sad time for those who are grieving.  So many have lost loved ones this year, especially on this site.  I grieve with you also. It could very easily be me grieving for Steve. Every day that Steve is with me is a blessing.  Everything is not rosey all the time, if you read my journals you know we (he) can be hard to get along with sometimes. LOL
For Carol, Linda, Carla, Gail, Ellen, Kathy and so many more I will think of you this Christmas with a special prayer in my heart.  (please forgive me if I have ommitted your name) And for the many more who are in the fight for their lives I wish for you peace and strength to continue the battle. Merry Christmas and love to each of you,  Wanda

Wanda...You are truly a wonderful person...to help spread good will and happiness even when your life is under stress with your husband illness. I am so glad Steve is doing well. Christmas can be so hard on people that are alone. I am so thankful for my family. It has been a busy time the last few weeks and I have found it more difficult to get on here ...but I still think of all my DS friends every day..Hugs Ellen
