Feeling Better after Yesterday.
I am feeling better after yesterday. It wasn't easy to admit it, but I am glad that I am able to do so. "Toughing it out" isn't so good at all. It's rather frustrating and harmful to you. Since I became a father 13 years ago, I had started that behavior. My former friends had just left my life slowly until I was alone. Now I want to be around people; Loneliness is harmful after awhile. Who needs to go to Clubs and Bars? They are boring and with people who are occupied with getting drunk and high. I haven't had a drink in 3 years and don't miss it.
The people there are narrow minded and you are alone afterwards. I would love to go to a movie or a Bowling Rink with a friend or 2 than a club. It has taken me 13 years to realize that. Later on, I am working out and going home to watch tv. I will watch either one of my favorite shows or Channel 13. Either way, I am thankful to be alive and must work this situation out. Depression has been a struggle for me and I am determined to conquering it. This week, I will refocus because its Easter and take it from there. To me, Easter is about rebirth and being better than what you were.
So no need to do anything drastic but refocus on my life and goals. That is the logicial solution.
