Feeling alone, wanting to get off this earth.
Today I'm feeling alone. I thought I had the support of my 2 sons, but guess I don't. They both made it clear that they feel like they need to be here for me. The irony of this is that neither one has done much to help me since Chuck died. I won't bother them. They can call me if they want.
So, I have no one here where I live. I have my work and coming home to a quiet empty house.
I haven't gotten much sleep lately, so maybe after a nap, things will look better.

I am so sorry to hear this Nancy. It must be very hard for you. Blessings to you
Sometimes you have to \'reach out\'-- especially to sons. They probably don\'t have a clue how to \'help\' you. Try talking to them about how you feel, that is if you are close to your sons. Sorry, that you are feeling so alone today. Hope you feel better about everything soon. Hugs, Joely
I am so sorry you are having a rough time of it today. Everyone grieves differently and maybe they are having a hard time too and don\'t know how to reach out to you. I hope you can get some rest and that tomorrow will be a little easier for you. Hugs, Dianne
I know how you feel - I feel like I have gotten very little support from my kids - and sometimes it is very hard to take. Then it seems as if sometimes some of it is me - I react or overreact and they react. But - as time goes on I believe it will get better - hang in there.
Some rest will definitely help, Nancy - it is so hard to function and think when we are emotionally and physically tired. Get some rest - reach out to your sons. Sometimes it is hard to get them to understand - Heath lives here with me and sometimes if I\'m quiet, not talkative - he assumes that he\'s done something wrong and I have to assure him that I\'m just kinda sad.....missing his Dad. Sons don\'t always understand - unless we spell it out !!
Hugs to you - Chris
Thankyou to all of you for your kind responses, words of support and advice. It is very much appreciated. I did get some rest and went to my \"other world\" of detox today to work. It always helps to go to work. My fellow co-workers are very supportive.
As far as my sons...I told them both that they can call if they want, but don\'t expect me to call them any longer. I will no longer ever ask them to do anything. I have asked them to do specific things, but they aren\'t available or just not done. They told me that they can\'t have their own life and \"move on\" by helping me. One would think that they would want to help their own mother. Oh well! They are sure here when food is offered or need help financially to buy something or handle a bill. So, I will leave them alone. That leaves me alone with no one.
Again, thankyou for taking the time to read my journal. Nancy
