fecal sample rules and guidelines. yippy//autism awareness//cream 4 the animals
the kids got engaged. they are at the stage where they are still fairly young (mid 20's), so still using the mom this, and dad that in comments, and their grandparents are still alive. the fiance got her a huge diamond, which is impressive for such a young guy. hope it all works out, they have been dating for 8 years and everything is set up very traditional, as it often is from college romance, kind of thing - i'm jaded with all of that from doing pro-photography work for nine years in the 90's. the photographers have slang terms for the different kinds of weddings (like under age 24 is a "kiddie wedding"); both sets of parents divorced (and they are separate in a church as well, is a divorce-war-wedding 'this should be fun') and to be honest photographers only respect the over age 30 weddings and expect divorce from the rest of them - the wedding packages used to come with a five year free portrait follow up, so you see them after the big day. doing photography was an eye opener.
this is the one that they said the daughter resembles a friend of mine from junior high school (she does) and the guy looks like an ex of mine who's bi (that's a whole other saga). hopefully these two are more honest than the two from the older generation, who were totally corrupted people. weird seeing photos like that though. i do that a lot lately. i'll see someone i know ... and then i have to stop and i'm like, no that isn't THEM, that is their son. lol. nothing like getting old. when it hits the point of, no that isn't them, that is their GRANDSON, then it will really be fun.
also received instruction for a fecal sample from my doctor. yippy. never did this before. collect on 3 different days. do not collect if blood is visible (hemorrhoids, menses, urinary tract infection). for SEVEN days before and during the collection, avoid ibuprofen, naproxen or adult dose of aspirin (i'm on 3 baby aspirin daily, guess that's okay?).
for three days before and during collection avoid vitamin C that is over 250 mg, and all citrus fruits and juices (have to check my multi vitamin). so i can't collect until wednesday, i had mango nector today. no red meat for 3 days before collection as well. i don't eat much red meat, but better look twice. wonder what all this is for. my guess is the cholesterol meds affect the liver?
nothing else going on. my foot is still hurting, it may be bone spurs? if massaged it feels okay and k says ultra sound can also get rid of it. would be interesting to study that and buy one of those machines if it heals that many things. wow! sonography. the canal by our office complex is ugly now. used to be a pleasure to just drive to work, a lot of woods and the canal and more woods. they burned down the woods to build development (in this economy?) so now its just flat and ugly, i hate that. they did the same thing on the road that was wooded and built that up a few years ago. it used to be prettier here. the beach is NUTS because of the heat wave, so good place to avoid at the minute, though night swimming is fabulous when its like this except its windy by our timeshare at night and i get cold.
i ate the other half of the calzone from the mom/pop restaurant and got numb spots by the bottom of my nose, so i guess the dough is GMO? have a feeling a lot of this is a reaction to the pesticides in the food. i said this to my cousin and she claims one of her uncles used to put pesticides on our toast, bread etc., when we were kids (and worse of course). nothing like lunatics. i know her mother was busted by social service for doing stuff like that to her babies. a total nutcase her whole life. they all blame the depression for their weirdness and its like, the depression was five years. so you blame 55 years of bad behavior because of five years of being broke as kids? i don't think so. how about you like being a lunatic and getting away with it, so you continue. what's surprising with my cousin, is her eldest two brothers do the same things that her mother and mother's brothers do. what is their excuse?
the outdoor cat came back with cream on him. i think the girl on the next street is treating him. i need to give him ivermectin again to see if it gets rid of it. i told my neighbor the same thing, his dog has that. a lot of animals get this in the spring and summer. it used to be regarded as allergy, but now i wonder if its also the gmo's in their food. seriously. the cats that had this last year though, cleared up i am guessing from using the ivermectin (e swears by it) and sh swears by the nu stock stuff that she used on the donkey, it took over a year to clear up both animals, but it did clear. the same on the siamese as well and same amount of time. it could be seasonal pollen aggravating it? i have spray from rn, for hot spots, for the outdoor boy as well. he's very sweet and i think he knows we are trying to help him. the cream that was on the stray has a nicer scent than the nu-stock and doesn't seem to stick to the fur in the same way, which is good. nu-stock was hard to get off the fur to apply the new coat of it (or do they make it like that on purpose?) and i'll need one of those cat groomer things from the catalog if i want to wash it down when there isn't cream on him. that will be fun. wonder what the cream is?

what\'s surprising is it didn\'t look like this would be in the works at all two years ago. i said this to j, and he says, yeah, but two years ago he wasn\'t moving to connecticut alone. i hope that\'s not it. j just laughs because its doubtful this is \"new\" i think people just live longer, so you see more of life, more divorce, more illness, more everything.
Congrats to your daughter on her engagement!
I am glad our cat is ok. Sounds like someone is spoiling him.
lol. not my daughter, she\'s still younger than that, friend\'s daughter. thank you for the good wishes anyway and hope it goes well.
a fecal sample is good for 14 days. wish i\'d known that a few months ago. i got a fecal (luck alone) on an outdoor cat, but thought it was no good after a few days, haven\'t been able to get another one since and its one of the ones that needs it. need to find out if i can still do the testing over there.
live and learn.
*hugs* Geo is trying to become a photographer... do you have any advice for him? Message me if you want to. *hugs*
