I'm going to do an entry for each day at a time, but hopefully all today. Thursday was pretty good... I got up at 5:30 and left at 6:15 to get to the train to go see my mom. Geo was so sweet... he stayed up all night till I left, at 6:15am, to make sure I got to the bus okay. I got on the bus, and hassled with my luggage as the bus kept turning and turning. I got to the train and the Amtrak okay.
On the Amtrak they saw I was having trouble getting up the stairs, so they helped me up and put me in the disabled section. One of the problems I get when I don't sleep is that I get really weak. I fell twice trying to get out of the tub the night before. I was having a lot of trouble balancing and all that, so it was nice to have help. On the train, there was a guy behind me that kept on making noise, and it was starting to piss me off. He was an old man, and I didn't want to be disrespectful and tell him to be quiet (he kept sighing, for example), so I got up and went to the lunch car and stayed there for most of the ride. I talked with some guys on the train. They bought me a beer, and I drank it. I probably shouldn't have drank it, but it's too late for that now. I got to my stop, got off and my mom's husband, Tracy, helped me with my bags.
After that, we went to Tracy's niece's graduation, which was really nice. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program. I'm so happy for her. Not only that, she got proposed to after the graduation! To make things even better, she went to the doctor yesterday and found out she's having a baby! I'm so jealous!
I came back to my mom's house, and eventually got to sleep around 1am... just to wake up at 6am the next day. To be continued....
