Fear of change

May 2, 2012Let our advance worrying become advance thinking and planning.- Winston Churchill
Thought of the day:
Fear can be a very powerful motivator, and can really help us move forward in life, if used correctly. Fear is a natural human instinct that sparks a fight or flight response in all of us. It can propel us into action when we're ready to confront them. So let's embrace our fears, and let our courage harness them into something productive.
Have a courageous day!

This was a very encouraging thought for me today. I've spent time facing my financial fears in the past 24 hrs. and to my great surprise I found some very helpful solutions. I am looking at the positive of this all. Post divorce I was so afraid of making financial decisions. I was so!!! angry with the loss of my retirement dreams. After the past 24 hrs I finally realize I can make it on my own if I assume responsiblity and focus on me. I make a good salary, have good benefits and if I am honest am doing better than some I know who have gone through the divorce struggle. This helps me emotionally feel up and much more in control than I was a year ago.
