"Fear does not prevent death. It prevents life."

today, ds is posting. yay!slept great. i slept outside last night. my version of camping this year is falling asleep on the lounge chair on the deck. lol.

talked to k, and he says he painted the bathroom but it needs more grout. it also needs washing. he also doesn't like the plaster work they did, its too rough. when the same company did the bathroom at the house by the university, he did the same thing and i had to have him return to add grout. i can also buy grout, but i shouldn't have to and i know that all by myself. the other guy that does work like this does the same thing. and the "kid" that k was using also does this. WHY? i don't get it. also byn when he fixed the deck and window, still hasn't returned to finish. if m was here he would say DON'T pay the entire thing until the job is done, but when it is still wet you can't tell.

been trying to stay off facebook because its addictive, but i keep finding things on there so well done and then i get into it. not good as i know its addictive just like ds used to be before it stopped working.

i bought jelly things for my shoes and ordinary pads, to see if it helps with the pad injury. we were looking at it the other day and it seems swollen. then i thought maybe the croc's are irritating it because they have those nubby things inside them now. i hate those things. the jelly things come out every time you remove your shoes and this is florida, i remove my shoes several times per day.

j bought sandwiches to have at the marina. really good too. i think publix had them on sale. they had the same thing at the office park. excellent with mayonaise dip. i don't like the marina anymore because the view is GONE. can't believe they ruined that and glad we were coming here way before the ruination of it. so many changes. will it be nice when done? i think there will be more crime, because when there is more people there is more crime. doesn't matter where you live.

one of the guys left early because his house was robbed, he's like, there isn't anything left. his wife got back from driving him to work and all their clothes and the kids toys and things are gone. just a total wipe out. if it could be carried its gone. wth is that? who wants children's toys and clothes. very sad.

called in my script for cholesterol and discovered i was out of refills. not smart. i was reading through my journals and i realized how much CALMER they are, now that jf is dead and our bully-former supervisor is gone. amazing how people create so much turmoil. nothing is as bad as having jodif around as a tenant though. that was the absolute worst. if g was here for this, my description used to be "worse than atn on jim beam" and then there would be gasps. that used to crack g up endlessly, but if you didn't know what jim beam is (its bourban) and if you didn't know atn when drunk, you wouldn't comprehend. atn isn't alive anymore either, i think she passed in 2010 around the same time as pm. people getting cancer and dying has become a steady thing since 2007.

would love some fresh fish, wondering if anyone still fishes. the kids used to go allll the time and c used to go and catch as much as a pro. he had a paid permit to fish on the pier on the ocean. so many changes.

these are photos of chaise lounges, wayfair has the kind we have and most pools do, hard finding a photo though, its heavy white plastic with big cushions:

You got that right! People getting cancer (or something) and DYING. All the time! Of course new babies get born to \"replace\" them, but it doesn\'t bring back the people we loved.

i think the easiest way to handle death is to visit cemetaries with a fold up chair and sit and talk to the deceased as though they are still alive. i also think they hear every word that way. seriously. lol. just hang out and talk.

I talk to them in my living room since they are not in the grave but with us. I play a couple of games on fb. Plus I would know nothing that\'s going on if it were not on fb.

I talk to my mom all the time. While I\'m doing dishes, after I pray before bed, I say \"goodnight mom\". I kinda feel her with me all the time. It\'s been eight years since she passed. I still miss her. I guess you always do. My hubby has lung cancer right now. I choose to believe that hope is the answer. I can\'t do anything to help save him. It\'s a terrible thing to watch someone you love suffer through this ugly disease. I\'m actually glad you gave me a chance to say something about death tonight, 38. Coincidence I know, but still, it\'s obviously on my mind...my fear of losing Bobby. It felt good to say that. I\'m not as brave as I appear.

FEAR DOES NOT PREVENT DEATH; IT PREVENTS LIFE! Couldn\'t have put it better, myself. Thanks.

Glad your calmer and I agree certain people can really amp up the stress.
Hope you get your RX that you need. I stopped wearing croc\'s. Just wasn\'t helping. I found these other type shoes, that are more attractive and help better w/my plantars. there called oofoos.

oh, i didn\'t mean a chair. i guess i wrote it wrong. its an outdoor CHAISE lounge chair with cushions, so kind of like sleeping on a bed. i actually have wanted to get a double one for YEARS because michele the cat always hogged the space on it, but haven\'t gotten one yet. lol. don\'t know if i\'m calmer, i\'m always on the calm side. i internalize things, so instead i bleed if stressed. i shouldn\'t laugh at that though.

toxic people are never worth knowing on any level at all - you only live once - including at work, the problem with this job is everyone likes the job itself, the location etc., but being around any asshole especially if abusive in anyway sucks. the asshole that used to come by our house was a former neighbor of j\'s. the kids wouldn\'t even come home if his car was there. ultimately he got cancer and died, it was drawing to a head by then anyway. like you come home and his car is there, a couple of times he was INSIDE!! too weird. he had a friend that would also do this, even after jf died, and it was like, you can\'t be looking for jf, so what in the world are you doing here. grrrrr. don\'t even like thinking about it, i think all of us felt stalked by both of them. he liked to come by and fix things and putter around. fine, if asked, but a little too close for comfort. there will always be weirdos.

at the minute, we have the asshole down the street from us and k says r is a leak and i guess a spy, and that is right there. not good. creepy really. makes me wonder what else he is up to over there. like why spy on anyone, ever?
