favorite car at this minute is 2006 honda civic ex coupe a.t.
the car i am in love with at the minute is a 2006 honda civic ex coupe a.t. in white only. i saw it in other colors and its not as pretty. lol. have no idea if i can still "do" a coupe, because of the knee injuries. grrrr. but i will go test it all out next. i haven't seen any great deals for it and i like it better than the accord coupe. it feels like when people say, what model of corvette do you like, totally silly to really have one of those. they get stolen etc., honda is number one for theft so its foolish. who wants to live like that. my boyfriend in 10th grade, the horrendous one. had a silver corvette that he used to pick me up from school in. lol. long time ago ... so we'll see on the car. if i can't wrap this up soon, i'm getting bored with it, then i'm getting another camry and then i'm going to search at my leisure (though i'll probably forget about it after that, its a nuisance looking for a car. its not fun. too many things go wrong with cars for it to ever be "fun". i can actually remember thinking choosing the color i liked was the most important part of the car thing. then a few of my cars were robbed, first by horrendous boyfriend AND HIS FATHER, and later by two of the lawyers at a tiny lawfirm i worked for as a temp for a few months in hollywood, florida. wth?! both sets of people went after EVERYTHING, bank accounts, cars, mail, my condo, real estate holdings, plane tickets when i'd be travelling. not saying i was their only victim. the ex's father had been doing this crap since early childhood, ditto with his son and the lawyers were doing it since the 60's and probably still are. both didn't seem to think anything of it. like what they appeared as in ordinary life was the mask and their real self was hoodlum. totally depraved. hoodlums come in all forms, sizes, ages, masks and costumes). definitely turns you off to material things, that is the only benefit to being robbed.
what was amazing with both sets of people is that they stalk. even if i'm in another state or another country, they will show up. totallllly creepy. when i lived in philadelphia while at college, another set showed up and broke into our campus rowhouse. i figured, okay, big city, we had break ins in a lawfirm where i worked in manhatten and its part of the city living thing. but that wasn't it, in phili. we discovered they knew the family of the ex from over a decade before that, and had gotten my address in phili from the bad stepbrother -- all of these people lived about five hours away from there. we called the police and i kept saying, who are you and why are you here. he never had a reason. later on, he and his brother showed up and another time him and his family - mother, father, sister and two brothers. they break right in. wth? why so far away? FIVE HOURS and the excuse? just passing through? just happened to be where YOU live while in college. reallllly odd coincidence don't you think. and who the fuck are you? we didn't live in society hill in phili, we lived in university city, a section full of college students. sooooo creepy. to this day, i don't know what they were doing there nor how they got the address. totally sick.
its like in the movie "freeway" with reese witherspoon and she screams at the highway killer who was employed as a guidance counsellor as his mask, "die already." what is it like to grow up or work your entire life, amongst people who are basically professional thieves (or worse). truly disgusting. i remember people calling him that when i was in tenth grade and i thought they were being mean to him or jealous because he lived in a nice area. couldn't be more wrong. i don't think any of those people, lawyers included honestly own ANYTHING they have, if you subtract all they OWE with triple damages and interest, they are so in debt, they could legit work for a few lifetimes and not pay off everyone owed with or without interest and damages. the ex says to me once that the court having them pay interest or damages on what they steal is "greedy" and "selfish" he actually SAID this. and its like, you are a thief. all you actually DO is steal, how do you figure anyone else is greedy? wth? one of those people who you literally "can't take anywhere". the one with the "family" of thieves, his sister went to private college and then went into investment banking. and everyone is like, it will never last. lol. and if we were all going to a concert, it was like, they are absolutely NOT INVITED, NO ONE invite them. so awkward. but you don't choose who you go to elementary school with, or who your neighbors are and you never know what is going to move next door or show up in your classroom. the house they lived in up north was actually burned down and i heard the TOWN burned it down because they didn't want any reminders that they had ever been there. wow! we hadn't lived in the northeast for several years at that time, but it must be an awful thing to face, they can't stand you that much that they burned down the house you lived in -- brand new house too, maybe ten years old at the time.
so i think all this stuff as i car shop and i wonder, hmmmm, make sure none of these cars triggers anything awful because it could.

There are so many things to consider when buying a car. Honestly, I buy new partly so half of what I would have to consider isn\'t a problem. No previous owners, no questions about WHY they traded in the car, so no surprises there! Hope you find what you\'re looking for soon! *HUGS*
i get asthma from the chemicals they use in new cars, so i always get a car that is a couple of years old. the newest was a couple of demo cars. and then i discovered mazdas that keep running regardless of miles on it. the toyota i had did the same thing. so that is where i\'m at now.
i love that coupe, but not sure of honda at this minute. a lot of people replacing engines at 150,000 miles. wonder why? you don\'t have to do that on toyotas or mazdas. still kicking myself for not at least TRYING the mitsubishi which i am sure he tried to get me to not buy, so i\'d buy from him. you can\'t trust people, especially car dealers, unfortunately, they go right into their \"act\" just like an actor would. easier to stay away from both. i have found a few good ones, if i get too confused i\'ll just get a camry and look at my leisure if at all.
i used to enjoy cars, but i had more energy back then, and once you have been robbed or ripped off and know about thieves eyeing your vehicles, you lose all interest - its the only positive of being robbed, a disdain for material things and people who are materialistic. yay for that.
I so hope that you get the car that is right for you.
me too. i\'d never buy a new car even without allergies to chemicals, because you have no clue at all what you are getting into. no reviews yet. its like that with any new product. why be the guinea pig.
very confusing though. a coupe is low to the ground, in areas that flood that is bad as well, besides the possible arthritis problem. they are also better on gasoline. also good for keeping out a LOT of people, they see a small car like that and walk the other way. lol.
