Fathers Day-June 15th,2008-without frank and dad

This day is very special to me.It is fathers day and this is the day in our house that we celebrated it to the ,most.Frank would buy a chocolate cake and mother would make the coffee and then we would all talk and this is something that I do not have with Brad.I am living in a vacuum and right now I cannot leave.Seattle is getting to be expensive and I cannot live by myself.I do not have a lot of these people interests and that includes their music also.I do not own a i pod and I do not go to the concert anymore and one of the reasons is this:I cannot afford it.SO I eat out lunch by myself when I can and go to all of the free things.There is going to have fantastic stuff here in the summer and friday is the beginning of summer and this is the season that Frank loved and the reason is this.We both hate coats.The winter here this year was brutal.Even with the heat on here it was freezing and they are trying to get rid fo us working people and this is what I feel.I do  not like the republicans and they want to cut services here to zero.They do not care about the people in need and if they get in..people all over will starve.We have food banks and for that,I am grateful.As for me..i am not going to the reunion and the reason is this..I cannot afford it.It will not be my class anyway..it will be 3 classes and the person that I havent seen isnt going to go.I like going to reunions and it gives me something that we do not have here.At reunions.you see people that you have not seen inyears and it is a very sad thing to say..but people do not keep in touch anymore.SOme of them havent written a letter in years and she does not know how to use a phone.So when people say to me..they do not have friends..I say have you gone to these reunions and they look at me.I am sorry..my dear ladies..a man is something that is not worth all of your time.To consume everything around him and a house is a waste of time.And have you noticed ever since Brad Pitt is involved with Ms.Jolie..noone even hears of him anymore and I want to know why.I want to know why all of this fuss is over her.What has she and ParisHilton done? What do they do?Is this necessary to see her face plastered all over the tv? We have got boys over in Iraq that are going in a lot of pain and some of them may not come back and what do we do? We are going ga-ga over a second rate actress all because she will have 5 children? Good Grief! And what has anyone of these stars have done for any of the Mental Health programs? Havent any one of them built a center? If they have..let me know.Please tell me what this obession is with women with children.I want to know.The fact that women today have children is always emphazied.WHy? And noone knows that seattle is in a bind because of the budget cuts.Some services may be cut permametly and some will be zero.So what do we do? We wrote columns on Brad Pitt and Ms.Jolie.If these people have helped some of the people in seattle,let me know.Otherwise as Archie Bunker used to say.ZIp It!
