Father's Day

Today is Father's day and it is a hard one.  We went out to the cemetery yesterday and it was so hard to read Lance's name on the head stone and thinking he should be the one looking at mine.  It has almost been ten months now and at times it is still real hard.  Our group session, once a week. has been a big help but there are times that it still seems like it is a bad dream.  I have a wonderful daugher and wife who I love very much and five grandkids, but there are still times I wish I were dead.  Sometimes like is just the pitts.

I know how you feel. There were, are and will be times I wish I would disappear from the face of this earth. I feel like I am just on the edge of going by, simply surviving. Try to find a meaning in living from this point on seems hard and seems hopeless. Though I have to find strength to go on. Our heart is heavy, punctured, bleed, silent tears, aches... yes I know it is hard, esp on holiday like this. I wish there is something I can do but I find nothing other than sending you prayers - May the Divine surround all of us with Faith, Hope, Peace and Love. His strength and grace are our stronghold... we must go on... second by second, min by min, hour by hour, day by day.... till we all meet our loved ones again face to face. Till then....we wait patiently and look forward for that day how we can embrace our loved one - all tears will be wiped away and be filled with joy and overwhelmed happiness. Hope onto to the vision and that day! love.

I have feel that way most of the time and some days are just unbearable. I don\'t know what I would do if I didn\'t have a church family and Sunday School class, plus friends who surround me and pray for me. I just let them know that I am in a dark place and that I need their prayers. I know your Father\'s Day was painful...special days just seem to punctuate our sadness. I pray you will sense some peace today. I find I seem to beg God for peace in this insufferable life....it will come from no where else! Love and Hugs, dale...brandon\'s mom
