Father\'s Day

Today was difficult, but I had a great evening with my granddaughter. My son restored an original print I had purchased many years ago. The glass on the frame had broke, and he cleaned up the print, and mounted it in a new frame. I spent the day watching the US Open. Go Tiger! I don't play golf, but I love to watch it, especially if Tiger is playing. My response when asked if I play golf has always been "I shoot in the low eighties, if it gets hotter than that, I won't play". My granddaughter and I went to visit Libra after she got off work. Libra's mother called while we were at the cemetary, so I put my cell phone face down on Libra's grave so she could talk to her. Silly, but seemed like the thing to do. After our visit Jessina treated me to dinner (Sizzler). We then came home and watched a movie (Across the Universe). I am still trying to go through Libra's things. It's going to take awhile, but I'm making progress. I'm amazed at the volume of writing my daughter did. I thought most of her writing was after she was diagnosed with cancer, but I'm finding that she has been writing for the last ten years. Her prayers and praise are so touching and heartfelt.

What a great journal entry John. That was a great idea too about putting the cell phone down on Libra\'s grave so her mother could talk to her, it was not silly. Hey I was watching Oprah this afternoon and she was talking about that movie Across the Universe. It looks like an amazing movie, one that even my hubby would enjoy. It almost seemed a little Pink Floydish ??? What did you think of it? Take care and warm hugs for you. Vicki xx
