Fasting Day 1
"It is a mistake to try to look too far ahead. The chain of destiny can only be grasped one link at a time."– Winston ChurchillAll throughout the material I have studied for school a lot of it states that fasting is most beneficial if done properly. So, I decided to go outside my books and find the medical studies that back it up. It turns out yes fasting is great for you and very beneficial- if done properly. I decided if I am going to recommend fasting to anyone of my clients I should probably give it a try. I mean when I was younger I fasted to lose weight which I learned that is horrible to do and well the fasting was cigarettes and sodie pop. LOL Not exactly done right and I could have really hurt myself!!! My point is I have the will but can I survive in my “old” age to fast for 1-3 days? Well, day one and I am on a juice fast focusing on detoxing. I have a “menu” of juices all planned out, herbal teas and fresh filtered water to drink. So far so good! I am enjoying a juice that consists of pineapple, orange, strawberries, and grapes. It’s quite yummy and oddly filling. I bet it’s going to be like Chinese food though…a half hour later I am going to be starving. LOL The only downfall to all of this aside from probably feeling icky from detoxing is I have to clean that juicer all the time. I know I will eventually cut my fingers, oh, that’s inevitable! Heh Anywho…Today is a rainy day with thunder here and there. I am loving it! The windows are open and a gentle rain is falling outside. I bought a bunch of books for my fasting so I can sit and read, however, when it’s rainy like this I like to sew so I may whip out the sewing machine and do a bit of sewing. I am still deciding whether or not I wish to study for school. This is my last module before the final!!! I am excited! :) I hope everyone is well! ~Bright Blessings~Rea
