fast food

Eating or not
I will admit here now that I absolutely have eating disorders.
Most of the time I do wonderful Fruits vegetables and grains.
But lately I have hit a roadblock.
Since my mom doesn't cook anymore and my dad never could cook,
We are now eating fast food twice a day.
I am completely mortified by the situation.
Do I starve and not eat at all or do I eat and then purge 15 min. later.
I am really scared of gaining weight because it will make it very difficult for me to move around and then I will lose total control of my life. I write this in my journal for others to see to let them know that they are not alone. For every step they take I take two. If you're reading this I'm sorry for its content, I'm just angry because making a decision on whether to eat or not seems so trivial.

Hey Hun...there are other alternatives....most fast food restaurants have items like salads, or sandwiches that aren\'t fried...grilled chicken breasts with just half the bun....you\'re creative, make it a game with yourself...think of ways you can cut the calories or carbs...!!

Is it out of the question for your caretaker to make you a fresh salad and leave it in the refrigerator for you? I do not know what physical abilities that you have, so forgive me if I say or ask the wrong thing. There are also alot of frozen microwave low calorie meals like the lean cusine, there are rice dishes etc. Is it necessary for you to eat the same things as your parents? I am just asking, because you know all the damage purging can do. Bless your heart I am indeed sorry for you situtation. Move next door, we eat lots of veggies and rice. plenty for you too. ;-*)

You face a thorny dilemma. I have often said that eating disorders strike me as being one of the worst diagnoses that anyone could have. Press on my friend and do not let confusion steal your peace. Thanks for being so refreshingly honest here.

Well, could you try and find someone to come in and help you cook from time to time? I know how eating fast food can affect your weight really quickly. We eat out waaayyy too much in this house and I\'ve gained 15 lbs. this summer alone, partly because I can\'t exercise when Jonah is home for the summer because I have to keep a constant eye on him and take care of him most of the time. And by the time I do have the time to exercise, I don\'t have the energy! But I really don\'t want to see you go down this road honey. Wish I could offer more help...
