Family Fun

My son appeared yesterday with his new saw. I had a broken branch on the apple tree and felt bad for the tree so I asked him to come and cut it off. As I was lopping up that mess, he grabbed the ladder and ran around the house. I'm working on cleaning up one pile and he's up the maple tree now cutting off more.
He gave no thought as to how the limbs would fall, that they might swing and go through a window, so I had to stop what I was doing and go pray for the windows as well as pull these huge limbs off my poor ornamentals. As I was pulling on one, it broke and I went flying through the air backward. I had time to think, hey I'm flying through the air, I wonder how much it's gonna hurt when I stop. My son yelled, "MOM! What are you DOING? Just wait I'm coming down!" I told him, don't hurry.
Then he grabs the ladder, my brand new ladder, didn't even have it a whole day, and puts it against the house at a really wide angle. It's a light duty ladder and there it goes, it's gonna bend and down he'll come. The kid doesn't care what I think, so up he goes and cleans the gutters, dumping the crap from them on the lawn. Finally he decided he was done. throws the ladder in the garage, and off he goes leaving the doors wide open.
I got the apple tree limb cleaned up, and shoveled the gutter crap off the lawn as much as I could. But the maple tree stuff is still piled up out there. Don't know when I'm going to finish that. Yes quite a storm we had on Tuesday.

Nah. I always had good bones. Rattled my teeth and probably scrambled my brain a little bit more. Didn\'t really hurt that much though.

Yes add my youngest son to anything and there will be an ample supply of high jinks and tomfoolery.
