Family Dinner
Tonight we had a family dinner, one that will start each month kinda like a family reunion, but both of my parent are only children so there is just my siblings and their kids and then my kids and grand kids. It was pretty fun and my mother didn't even bring up anything about weight for once. I still would have walked out of the party if she had. Setting this new boundary is great but I do have to follow through too which can be hard on both of us. I had three of my four kids there too so we even had our own too.

You are doing great with this boundary and, I am sure, there are others you will also have to set! I am so happy for you and proud that you have been able to reach this level. I tried this a number of times to no avail until I had to reach a point of \"no contact\" with ANY of my family members! Now, my ex has taken my place in the family! I am sure that, as they are all abusers, they are happy with one another! LOL! Hugs.
Sounds like fun. Wish my family would do something. If it wasn\'t for facebook , I wouldn\'t know what everyone was doing.
