Family can be frustraiting.
Made it through another day yesterday. However, last night right before dinner I got into an argument with my mother about my diet. You see, I have high blood pressure and my doctor told me to only eat so much salt. I have trying to stick with what he told me as much as I can, but my mother keeps saying that I am cutting back too much and that I should be more flexable with what I eat. The problem with that is that so many foods we have out there are full of salt and the about of salt I can eat quickly fills up (just eatingg a sadwhich by itself can give me 30 to 40% of my daily amount).
Fortuneately we were able to talk it out and work things out. Luckily, my mother is the one person in the family that seems to even remotely listen to me and take what I say seriously.

Good that you were able to talk it out with your mom.
It sounds like she really cares about you and your happiness. My guess is that she was worried that you were cutting too much out of your diet and it would make you unhappy and risk you going back to your old diet. Family can be the most frustrating people we will ever meet but usually it comes from a good place. We just need to keep the lines of communication open to see that. It is great that you two were able to talk it out.
