False Alarm
I have been on bed rest for 2 weeks now...and I am only 10 & 1/2 weeks pregnant! When I get up to use the restroom, my cramps increase, so I budget every little movement. Sunday night, I started cramping SEVERELY...and started bleeding. Not a lot, but bright red. Luckily, I have weekly ultrasounds and had one scheduled for 1 p.m. the next day. I tried my best to stay calm and spent the entire night/day praying.
The ultrasound was WONDERFUL! Our baby is growing right on mark and was jumping all around. His/her heart rate was 181 and everything is looking perfect. AND, what I had hoped to hear, too was a "GOOD" explanation for the bleeding. Apparently I have several cysts near my cervix that are bursting. My doc said they are very common and not at all dangerous to the baby. Just to expect blood and mucus when they burst. Yuck, but WHEW!
Next ultrasound is next Monday. I am still doing 3 injections a day, 4 suppositories a day and complete bedrest. I am doing everything my docs know of that is HUMANLY possible to keep this baby safe and growing...the rest is up to God!
:-)
My DH could use some prayers. The stress of not having a job is wearing him down. He is not acting like himself at all....short tempered, nasty, neglectful and not too pleasant to any of us. I know he feels very overloaded having to do everything himself, which IS hard. But it is NOT LIKE HIM to take things out on us.
Thank you ladies for your love and support. I would have checked myself into a mental hospital long ago if not for DS! LOL

Yay! I was just wondering how you and baby were doing! I am so happy that he or she is growing healthy and all the injections, suppositories, and bed rest are helping! Although I am sure it makes things a lot harder with you being limited. Prayers for your hubby, it must be so hard for him to feel like he can\'t take care of his family. But I hope he gets back to himself soon and hopefully gets a really great job that will make all this waiting and stress worth it! Just keep hanging on to faith, as hard as that can be.
Bleeding is usually a very scary sign that no expectant mommy wants to see. Yes DS is a great support website. The best I\'ve found so far. I have to say thank you Lord for it. It helps keep me as I\'m sure it does for most of us.
Wonderful news to hear that you and baby are good!! Praying that things continue to go well for the two of you!
I\'m so glad they found a good reason for the bleeding. And SOO glad that the baby is doing so well! I\'m sorry to hear that your husband is getting so stressed. I\'ll be praying for you and your family. God bless you!
Glad the baby is doing well. Hope you dh finds a job soon!
So glad to hear everything is okay!
Please keep your head up!!!!
Hugs!!!

DH did NOT get the job...the debated for a week...search committee wanted him, but the rest of the board went with a friend of theirs. :-(
Oh no. I\'m so sorry. I hope he finds a job soon.
I\'m so happy about your pg & the explanation for the bleeding. Isn\'t it exciting to see a healthy little baby on an u/s? You deserve this!
