Fallen Angels
A recurring fantasy I have had throughout most of my broken life is of a business which offers work/hope to people with damaged work/life records. With the language evolutions which have transpired in recent years, it might be better to call this fantasy, "The Toxic People Landfill," but I still like calling this fantasy, "Fallen Angels." Given the clever perfection of the Non-Toxic People of the world, I'll let them handle their own cruel stigma peddling.
My early attempts to act on this fantasy ended up with me footing the bill for further psychotic confusions, but the fantasy somehow survived those crash and burns. Uncle Sam I ain't and promoting the welfare mentality is not part of this particular fantasy. Uncle Sam's office is down the road, my friend. Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.
The fantasy was brought to the forefront this morning by a visit from a sub-contractor who handled patching the bricks in the wall of the outside door to the extraction room on the honey barn. His work was excellent and I learned allot from him in our walk around the barn discussing other spots where the brick is in need of work. He, too, is befuddled in understanding the brick this barn is made out of it. It is a unique brick, even without the kluges and patches which have been added over the decades. While recognizing all the scars and ticks of a fellow fallen angel, I was impressed with his knowledge, complete with the honest admission of limits to that knowledge. Even a true master still has things to learn. The chemistry between us resonated well and we ended with discussion of how I might be able to hire him to patch the other holes in the brick. Some of them, at least. The building has ALLOT of holes. It is a true work of folk art blessed by low budgets and decades of neglect.
The politics attached to hiring a sub-contractor independently can be a bit tricky. I respect the reasons for that. A sub-contractor who steals clients can do some serious damage to a business. Questionable ethics, indeed. Still. . . The brick patching isnae a big enough job to benefit from a project manager which is among the benefits of hiring a general contractor. The justification for these questionable ethics extends to the growth potentials of other interests which have nothing to do with construction or remodeling. Our urban agriculture notions intrigued him mightily. This property is still considered "rural" but evidence of the Lone Star Boom is solidly in place. However "country" this area looks to some, to my senses, The Metroplex has arrived. Get planning. . .
Sorting. . .
I amnae certain who was who accompanied the mason on yesterday's visit, but I hired them both on a daily contract. My senses believe she is an SO, but that isnae mine to sort. They should be here in less than two hours. We see what grows. Praying that I amnae *simply* acting out yet another delusion of granduer.

Addendum:
YS had a sleepless night last night because his wife suggested yet another "Non-Traditional" lifestyle choice yesterday. I donae much care what her social media clique is calling ^it^, but when YS called to vent, my over-developed sense of responsibility rushed to blame yesterday's psycho-sorting of my "Non-Traditional" PTSD trigger. Leaving his couple yaddahs as his to sort, my over-developed sense of responsibility is still fielding guilt attacks over the notion that ? ? ? Did my private psychosorting inspire her cruelty?
I had to type that out to help me confirm that it sounds even more illogical when I say it out-loud.
Reminding myself not to look for logic in a psychotick and plying awareness exercises. We see where it flows.
I’m with you Arfie. Especially on remembering not to look for the logic for anything psych related. You’ve done a masterful job in reminding me to get ready..., on your Mark.., Sit.
So perhaps it’s time for a nice round of sitting and letting it flow.
Hugs & love my friend
Ah that tricky little doing nothing and letting it flow, aint as easy as one would think so kudos to you and triple hugs of support while you await the flow.
For hyper Human Doings such as myself, Nothing is the hardest work you can ask me to do.
God please grant me patience. NOW, GODDAMMIT! ! !
lol but Yeah Right!!! I like the fallen angels' thing too. I see kind of an Angie's list as a second chance for good people who had a bad time once and it affected their employment history. I see a sign. It reads "REWORK IT: YESTERDAY'S PROFESSIONALS PUTTING A NEW FACE ON TODAY'S PROJECTS" ;-)
In my opinion patience often is a luxury more than a virtue. It’s a lot harder to obtain and quite costly in the end.
But it’s just an opinion..., sending patience your way but not sure if it will help.
Hugs
