Falling
I am so scared! I fell twice yesterday. The first time, I wet myself and could not get up. I waited and rested for awhile and then managed to pull myself up and go to the bathroom and clean up. A few hours later, I fell again, and could not get up. My husband was in Boulder (50 miles away) . One brother in law was at work and the other brother in law was in his room on the other side of the house. (we have a big house).
I yelled and screamed and was on the floor for an hour and a half, before my brother in law came home and heard me yelling. Both brothers helped me onto the bed. Then my husband came home. He was really angry. He said if I exercised more, I would be able to get up on my own. He threatened to put me in a home. He said I can't lift you and I can't be here all of the time. He works from home and two days a week has to work in Boulder.
I have PPMS and have not had an exacerbation in well over 2-3 years. I really think this was an exacerbation because I lost all feeling in both legs from the thigh down. They felt like weights. Dead weights. Today, I am better but weak. I am trying to be cautious.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. You have MS what does he expect. We can not control the symptoms we have. Do you use a cane, walker, or a wheel chair? It might make it easier for you to get around the house better. My husband always tell me that I need to exercise more. He does not realize that when you have no energy at all, it is so hard. I wish you all the best. Take care and be careful.
I am so sorry. It must have been so scary. The two days your hubby works is it possible to have someone com in? Another friend, relative, paid caretaker. I have people splinting time during the hours I need help. And when by myself I use a scooter when tired. Otherwise I am good on the walker to the bathroom. and back. I will include you and your husband in my prayers.
The marriage vows say in sickness and in health... I sure hope your husband remembers his vows , dealing with MS alone is too much and very hard,(I have it too) ,he really needs to be more compassionate towards you. I am so sorry you have to suffer with this bad disease. God bless you honey. I am praying for you.Love & Hugs, Anya
