Fall is in the air

Hi Friends; Sorry I haven't been on line for awhile but fall is in the air and that means the start of Elk season for those of us living in Idaho. We have been having cool nights and fairly warm days but not hot. Just right for hunting season. Hubby and I just returned home from 14 days up at our cabin and many days riding horses looking for those elusive elk. I think my Butt callasus's  have callasus's. I know I was bruised from one knee over to the other after spending 9 hours on the back of that horse almost every day. The only Elk signs we saw were 6 set of tracks for the first 10 days and finally got into the elk on the 11th day. Bagged a nice 3x4 bull on the 12th day so it was a decent vacation. but i don't care to ride a horse for a few days. For those of you unfamiliar with Idaho we are infested with Yukon wolves and finding Elk, Deer and moose is becoming a rarity anymore. Where once we had hundreds of elk roaming the plains and timber we now have just a few thousand, such a sad state of affairs. Especially for those of us who have lived on wild game almost all of our lives. Between work and hunting i barely have time to get on the computer lately but I did want all of you who do read my posts that I am still alive and well. Happy Halloween all
