Fall bliss

Fall has always been my favorite time of year and here it is, in all of its glory, yea!!!  Had the most blissful day yesterday had family over for brunch and watched the grandkids so mom & dad could get some outside business done. We have made a family decision about the future.  Bill & I had made a decision to move out in 2 years and let the kids have the house, since they are a bigger family and need the room, and we are so tired of yard work, maintenance etc. So we had planned on moving into a retirement mobile home park that is just freaking beautiful; well now that has changed. Since our neighborhood is zoned for mother-in-law units we decided as a family that we are going to build an apartment on the property.  My daughter was planning on doing that anyway, because she doesn't want either of us alone after one of us passes, so we are just going to skip the moving to a mobile and build right here. This way we can watch the grandchildren grow, still be close to the kids and have our own independence! We can travel and not worry about our dogs or our home. Win win, win... I am totally tickled at the prospect.  I feel like the luckiest gal on the face of the earth this morning, to have family and be surrounded by people who love us.  Wishing everyone the best time of your lives.
