Eye problem back??
Hi all, I am Robert, Debbie's (Kaput) husband. Debbie's eye problem has come back and it is worse, it now hurts in the tear duct. After seeing 2 doctors, sterile eyewash, 2 sets of antibiotics, hot compresses and eyelashes plucked, that were growing inside her eyelid, the tear duct is now hurting, which appears to mean it is a stone in the duct. Deb now can't see out of that eye. She won't go back to the doctor because she is too darned stubborn and they won't call for a phone conference so she is asking you to pray that it will get better or that I go deaf because she is driving me nuts.

More power to you, I wish you all the luck in the world, and I hope Deb gets her eye back soon so you survive. All kidding aside, tell Deb I wish her a speedy recovery, but she needs to follow the advise of the doctors, just as she tells us. Please take care, and be safe. -- Bill
Deb, I understand what you are going through. I have had lacerations to the cornea and eye pain is the absolute worst. I am dealing with vision that has been a real problem since my two cataract surgries back in April.
Please don\'t be so stubborn that you are doing yourself harm. You know that if you have permanent damage, a lot of things that you do now may not be available. Right now I am leaning into the screen to type this. So get a move on and do something.
You know I don\'t come on DS much anymore but you are important to me as a friend and I want the very best for you.

Thanks Robert, for letting us know. I hope that Debbie will realize that she may need to give in and see the eye doctor. I would love it, if the problem could resolve itself, but I suspect she needs the services of an ophthalmologist. At any rate, tell her I\'m praying for her, and hoping things get better soon. I kept doing what the eye Dr. told me, with the hot compresses, messaging & eyedrops & it feels a whole lot better. Patience is not one of my strengths:>)))

Holy moly...I missed this while I was on medical vacation ! Glad things got better. My daughter was told once that you can use anything in your eye that you can use in your ear. She used numbing ear drops in her eye with no after problems. LOL..always ask for the numbing stuffs !!
