Eye doc

Wednesday I went to Lubbock , Tx.for a follow up apointment with my eye specalist , thinking that I would not have to ever go back and see him agian . Well what the heck did I know ? Aparently nothing !!!! After waiting and waiting he comes in and looks in my left eye for what seamed like hours and then he drops a bomb saying that my retna is detached and that I need to have surgery that very day . And here I was thinking what , You have got to be kidding me the only problem I have is alittle darkness where I am thinkint my eye brow is sagging because of bells palsy that I have had for several years . He tells me that is the result of the detached retna and if I don`t have the surgery then I could be blind in that eye . Now I am setting here with one eye almost swolen shut trying to write thie post . Still not believing what has happened . I was planning on comming home from the appointment and starting to pack things to move into our new house that we close on the middle of this month . Now I can`t lift anything that is heavier than 10 lbs . No bending or stooping ,pulling pushing or anything that I need to do to get ready for our move . What a bummer .
