Exercise Good and Bad at the Same Time
Did a little yard work, but the exercise got to me, I'm all tense and jumpy now. Could not watch the debate on tv, it made me too nervous. I can't watch award shows either. I don't remember being uncomfortable with live tv years ago, I wonder when this started. Somehow fictional shows are relaxing, but not live tv. They said on the tv news tonight that I am not the only person getting the jumping heebee jeebees from all this financial turmoil. Ordinary people all over the world are getting all stressed out. Watching your financial security circling the drain is deeply unsettling to people, can't imagine why. I read about a sociological study of college students that explored what stresses them the most. Their high suicide rate made the study especially important. This was years ago. The results were a big surprise. The researchers expected things like dating, grades, social acceptance would be the top ones, but they were way down at the bottom. The one thing that nearly all of the students put at the top of the list was worrying about money.

Since NZ followed the rest of the world and gave up free education students here have had the same problem, my kids as well. Now one has a ginormous student loan, Many just qualified take off overseas to earn enough money to pay their loans back, so it does not work out, losing these qualified young people. The whole world gives me the heebee jeebees, the way it is going. Must be getting old me thinks.
You\'re not getting old, Jazzy, you\'re getting smart.
