Ex Talk?

Backing off on the plans to pick up the GKs triggered a round of Ex Talk from YS yesterday. As so often happens, I couldnae discern if my son was speaking for himself or if he was speaking from the romantic kluge he becomes when he is with his wife. Dunno. . . Not mine to sort. 21st century Ex Talk is as confusing to me as the Bridezilla ring shake which begins the romanctic sequence. Spare me, please. I think I hear my cat calling. Have fun. Go ahead and start without me. The harder the Bridezilla shakes her ring, the more loudly I seem to hear the divorce drama to come. Girly giggles and shrew screeches seem to carry the same tones to my ears. Mean girls have their own car in my PTSD freight train. Again I remind myself that trauma flashbacks cloud my vision of what is in my face. The woman showing off her latest diamond in the here and now isnae actually in my mean girl freight car. Ply therapy exercises to separate the trigger from the trauma.

Yesterday's Ex Talk was targeting the patriarch of the other grandparent house for having told me things were going well with their care of both GKs. No need to separate the siblings during this traumatic phase of the proceedings. I would have loved to hear from the other adults in the household, but I took the patriarch at face value. Are there other options in dealing with a patriarchal family? I do admire the surface simplicity, but there sure is allot of back-biting that goes on when the patriarch is not present. The DIL is no exception. She hates her father. Again, it is not mine to sort, but I often wonder if my son hates his FIL on the days his wife tell him to. Most days, YS isnae a hateful soul. He has the heart to pray for people on their rough days and embrace them when they are ready to be embraced. His isnae a hateful nature. At least his nature wasnae hateful 6 years ago when he got married. I amnae sure what to make of the romantic kluge he has become.

Whatever the evers of all those whats, YS was being quite hateful towards his FIL yesterday as he campaigned for me to ? ? ? I amnae quite certain what he was campaigning for. I received the word strings as what he and his wife would be saying about me had I been the one available to catch the GKs on the day the police took them away from both of them. I remain grateful that the other grandparents were there to take protective custody in a home the children already knew.

Letting God lead the dance. Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.
