feels weird being around the marina without the black cat being there - community animals make environments feel more normal.  wish i knew where the orange cat is.  no one has seen that one in two weeks.  vicki called and left a message that she finally took the black cat, brought it to the vet, got it all its shots and tests (its already fixed, sonya fixed it around 8 years ago) and its healthy.   i had already called c, to see where it was.

d claimes that one of our employees is sleeping on the beach because he sank alllll of his money into a mobile home and its not ready for move in, even though it was supposed to be ready three weeks ago.  omg!  my friend is pet sitting his dogs, but finding a place for the three of them, he, his wife and 5 year old,  on a weekly until the mobile home is done is near impossible.  what a mess.  there used to be extended stay places (not the actual hotel called extended stay) that were mom and pop variety with weekly rates, but the one kta's father owned was sold when her father died and is closed now.  very strange because it was open since the 1940's her grandfather owned it before her father - her grandfather was a minister so it started as some kind of ministry thing and then he left running it to semi-retire and only do mass marriages in orlando.  he used to be on tv every year doing them.  he died, and then her father surprised everyone and died a few years ago, i think he was 51.
always surprises.  anyway he said he was staying with his buddy a couple of nights, a buddy can be a person, it can also be the beach or a hotel, people use the word "buddy" loosely.  hope he is okay - so much harder with three people (wish he had stayed at gordon's - but no kids - everything else, animals, wife whatever, but no kids.  so many people get like that when they get older, he doesn't even like his grandchildren around longer than a day.  the pig sanctuary used to do free rentals in exchange for helping on the farm and had mobiles of sorts to sleep in, i wonder if she is still around to do that, a lot of people used to travel to camp there - one woman used to pitch a tent there every weekend and stay on alternate weekends between two animal sanctuaries.  i have never tent-camped in my life, but a lot of people are into that.   i should tell him, they had tents for sale for half off at the hope store and rn has a pup tent he could use for free - but it won't sleep three people?

talked to him today and he claims he is in a hotel, a "friend", hmmm is that checks in advance (i hope not they charge a fortune in interest) or his step daughter or step son in law?  or the guy he gave so much money to but still no mobile home!?  gave him some money so he is in a motel on a1a (if it was just him, he could probably house sit or do any of these exchanges that are on craigslist, though most of them are in the deltona area (its a LOT cheaper there, which is surprising because there is also a LOT more work out there, its by orange city, sanford and closer to orlando if someone needed to go that far).   i sent him on two other rentals, one he thinks is another scam (that is the third one we need to send to an attorney general) like when those people from "nigeria" want your bank account number to send you a million dollars.  if the scammer is usa they can do something.  his wife is staying south for two weeks, so by now i think he realizes he should have stayed at gordon's.  too late though.

d sent over where he goes when he and his parents are on the out's and he is between places.  he says its a few hundred per month, its not.  its the same as extended stay.  why does he do that?  another money waster.  the place way west of here where al capone lived, is genuinely cheap and completely redone, but he said they didn't seem to like the 3 people thing either for more than a couple of nights and did he mention his two dogs too?  lol.  he shoots himself in the foot every time.  one step at a time.  right now he needs accommodation just for him, start there.  so hopefully one of these other ones will work out.   there is a trucker from jacksonville that advertises his house super cheap and in a normal area, but i doubt he will take 3 people - most rentals won't.

except for that, pretty quiet and nice and balmy outside.  bathed the dogs, they shiver from that?!  lol.  then they went to lie in the sun.  k called to say his refrigerator stopped working.   k from work also called for new forms, we get this every other years since the company was bought out, don't they have anything better to do?  seriously.   started the book, something borrowed.  its excellent.  emily giffin has great writing style - she draws you right in.

its too bad a can\'t sleep in his office, that works for a LOT of people and then join planet fitness for $10 per month. some of those are open 24 hours and have showers and all that, it\'d also be GOOD for him to work out again. or if he rented office space as a back up since he has done things like this before, some office space only costs $150 per month. its good to have. or a piece of land. you have to have something as a safety net, which is why he wanted the mobile so seriously (he already went into foreclosure on his house in south florida, he said as much money as you make down there, it goes right out the window in taxes and house payments, but he misses the beauty of south florida because its tropical down there and its not tropical in north florida (we have 3 seasons up here) in south florida you have ten months of summer and key west is supposed to have the same weather as hawaii, 80 degrees year round and super breezey because its a key (small island).
