Everyday I'm shuffling....

Had to go to court today regarding an unpaid medical bill. Supposedly now that we've been to court they'll be more accomodating regarding payments. Sure hope so! The last time I tried to talk payments with them they wanted $300 a payment. Why do bill collectors always think u have a spare $1000 hanging around in some bank account that u have chosen not to spend?
Don't know if it was the stress of going to court today, stress of the week, or just fatigue from the week but I'm really hurting tonight! Arms, ankles, feet and shoulders are all really hurting! Hopefully I can sleep without pain meds since I don't have many left. Disability is looking more and more like I might be applying for it!

Hope you\'re feeling better. Collection agencies are just plain evil IMO---I\'ve got horror stories and I was never even in debt! Just inherited a deadbeat\'s phone number when I moved! Ack! And yes, they all seem to think you\'re a lying scumbucket with cash stashed under the mattress....So sorry you\'ve got to deal with this BS, and go for disability!

Just remember that disability is a tough thing to get for us. Make sure you have a doctor who is on your side. Mine is a bit ambivalent, and that is making it 100 times harder than it would be if he supported me. It will be at least a year before you get approved, assuming you don\'t get denied, first, which you probably will. And although some say you can keep working while you\'re filing, the fact that you are working shows them that you can work, and you are more likely to get denied. Disability is NOT an easy out. I\'m in the middle of my fight right now and it\'s not looking good. Something to keep in mind! Hope you\'re feeling better after a good night\'s sleep! *HUGS*
