Evening Mild Pain 1/4/2014
The pain was bad until around 1pm then it finally calmed down a bit. Currently at 7pm it's tolerable so that's all I can ask for right now. I appreciate the temporary relief but it's just a matter of time until it's back in full force.
No pattern, no reason. I do the same thing everyday yet the pain is completely random. The only constant is that it is always there just at different pain levels.
The worst thing about the pain being mild is that you get that tiny sliver of hope that maybe this time it will be different. Maybe it is actually getting better and going away. Then you wake up at 2am and the pain is back even worse or the pain is mild all night and but then starts after you wake up.
I long for the days when a sore shoulder or knee ache was the biggest problem I had. Those are normal pains with normal treatments. It still amazes me how fast life can turn into a full blown nightmare. Why can't good things happen that fast?
Anyway, I will just enjoy the few moments of minor pain...and pray that maybe this time will actually be different.

I\'m hoping that the milder pain will maybe, at some point happen more often and for longer periods of time than this totally intolerable stuff you have to deal with. The worst pain I have had to deal with was sciatic nerve pain, which lasted a few months, then I found out about a shot and the morning after that is was basically gone. I didn\'t deal well with that at all, so I can\'t imagine what you are going through. I don\'t know what your pain is from, but I can tell a difference in the way you write when it has lessened to what is probably still bad pain. I hate you have to deal with this. I have no answers and can only hope your doctors are right and you will get relief. You are always in my thoughts so please know I care and hope the doctors will have something better to offer you next week. I will be watching for your post of good news!
