Evening at the fair(Mother/Son Date)

Today was a better day. I decided not to let the party situation get me down. I took my oldest daughter and two of her friends went to a concert at our county fair. I didn't like the idea of dropping them off so I also took my 3 year old and we spent the evening on a Mother/Son date. While the girls were at the concert, Morgan and I visited the displays, cow barns, horse barns, pig barns, sheep barns, rabbit building, poultry building. We played some games and he road some rides. We did ride the Carousel(sp?) together because that is the only one that doesn't bother me. He had such a good time. I am so glad that I was in fairly decent shape today or it could have been bad. Other than a few minor blips he even was really well behaved and Ihave wonderful memories to hold on to. I am also thankful to God that the chance of scattered/isolated thunderstorms never came. It was such a relief not to get caught in a storm. I have been there and done that at the fair and I don't ever want to do that again. Feeling pretty good today. I am hoping it lasts for a while.
