Even the last day of school....

I knew for some odd reason I would receive a call from the assistant principal.  Yes....the last day of school, no less.  T was so excited to go to school and walk with the Seniors (a tradition where they meet at a location and walk together to school).  He was actually asking me to hurry up this morning (a first) so that he wouldn't be late for this.  For the last few weeks many of the days he was tardy to school.  Anyway, the kids walk to the school and then walk through the halls before school starts.  Knuckle Head T, while walking down the hall sees a pop can that had fallen out of a recyling bag.  He thought it would be funny to kick it.  Well, he decides that it would be fun to kick the rest of them in the bag.  I guess it occurred on two floors and they have security cameras so there was no denying.  The assistant principal did not kick him out but he is sitting in dentention to do his final exams (that he didn't study for).  I am supposed to pick him up early to get him out of there.  The assistant principal did say that T was upset and cried.  That was a FIRST for him.  The AP never saw him cry before.  T told him that he was clean.  The AP told him that that was a good thing but if he puts himself into situations that such as the one that occurred this weekend (that I didn't know about) it would put him at risk.  The AP told him of a rumor he heard that the police stopped the car T was in.  One kid bolted and ran once the car was stopped.  The AP asked him why and T said because his friend had drugs on him.  Nice.  The AP asked him if he told me.  He said no because he "didn't want to worry her".  The AP said "I know your mom worries about you every day".  Do ya think?
