Eve of the eve

well today is thursday. almost christmas eve.  I miss that little angel of mine.  she has grown to be such a part of my life and she has matured so much in the last three months.
I didnt tell my wife she couldnt contact my daughter at all but this no contact is not fair to me.  but it might be a new years resolution.  Hmm have to think about that.
Well i guess my shopping is all done this year.  i was so thankful that my church gifted my daughter with toys and clothes.  I just didnt know what to say.  this was just so overwhelming.  Money is so tight right now and i guess they can hear me squeaking.  5 more days
sheesh

I know it is tough but you are a tough guy and will get through this. Just take it all one day at a time. Also, remember this thing of her not letting you contact your daughter while she has her for a long term possession and on a holiday at that! When she comes home YOU stick to the rules and give no quarter just as she has YOU when it was her time.

The times without them are the hardest. I know. In some ways I was lucky in that. My kids fathers were never much for the long term visits. Even my oldest whose dad was the best about maintaining a good relationship with his child didnt usually take her for the long term visits like the week on spring break and the 30 days in the summer. He just availed himself of the every other weekend and even those had quite a few missed ...opportunities. The crazy part is while I have 4 children with 3 different fathers. None of the fathers have any other children but those I have.

The way I managed when they were gone was to do the things I couldnt do when they were home. Like watch a movie uninterrupted, clean my house from top to bottom or go get my hair done. Go to the gym... those things that you have to find a sitter to do. It will make the time go by faster. Merry Christmas!
