escaped!

Well, I was able to escape the hospital for now. I have antibiotics which hopefully will help with swelling in pancreas/liver and sinus. My wonderful doc also gave me more pain meds. I go on them in an hour - can't wait. If swelling doesn't go down, or I can't keep fluids down, it's hospital bound for sure.
I'm PRAYING that my organs calm down. I don't have time to deal with them right now. I'm just resting a lot and being kind to my body.
Trying not to worry too much about my sister. The chemo is hurting her a lot and she still has to work as she needs sick leave for brain surgery in Jan. Doesn't seem fair, but when is life fair, aye? I hate she's hurting so bad.
She says we should be together since misery loves company! She's so funny - always. But I do feel bad complaining when I most likely will live with CP if it doesn't progress too far (esp other organs). Her prognosis for the uterine cancer is good but the brain tumor is really bad. Ugh!
Thank you all, friends. I think your well wishes let me skate out the trip to hosp yesterday! Yeah! Hip Hip! So glad for that small blessing. Merci!!
PS: Finally had to turn on heat yesterday when we got home. It was 57. Sadly, had hubby close windows. Sigh. I love the smell and sounds of nature but now it will be May till we can open them for good again. But winter is also awesome! So I can look forward to that.

That is great news your home. Lets hope the antibiotics works. What about the stone? And irony of you being a Geologist. I agree better on the beach. Here\'s the link to Euell Gibson\'s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XJMIu18I8Y take care of yourself. Brian TTFN
Praying the antibiotics work..Take care. Sending happy. Thoughts & good wishes.

Ta - I\'m keeping my fingers and toes crossed! Still able to keep fluids and light toast and such down. That\'s a good direction, aye?
Hope you enjoyed this lovely fall day! I LOVe the wind. I guess I just love nature. And I agree with you and myself (luckily) - stones belong on the beach! If the stone acts up again before I go into hosp, I\'ll have to have it zapped. At least it\'s rather easy and non-invasive! Nibs :)
