Erica said this to me... :(
She said the Tatum wasn't a good choice and I need to find someone else.
I love Tatum.
So many people have told me that he is a bad idea.
:(
What do y'all think?

That's your choice. Follow your heart. If he is the one you want to be with then I say stick with him.
Don't worry about what other people say or think.
Happy Hugs

I get you “love” him but you have to ask yourself why are so many people against it? What do they know/see that you aren’t acknowledging? Just food for thought
Some people dont like him for things he has done in the past.
He did some things years ago that ppl wont just forgive him for. Every teen boy has made some dumb decisions. They learn from them tho.
I talked to him about what he did and he said he would never do that again especially to me.
He loves me too and he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep me.
The past is the past. You can't change it.
Forgive and Forget is what people need to do.
I think everyone deserves a second chance.
Just saying.
There are definitely red flags, based on what little you have shared with us about his past. I'm not confident that Tatum is right for you. Because of your family history (absent mom, trauma as a young child, instability/lack of affection at home), it may be that you like Tatum because he says he loves you, gives you attention, and he's cute, rather than him being a great guy who has always treated girls well, and who deserves a girl as amazing as you are. Those of us who have been through trauma can tend to go for/settle for guys who aren't always the best for us. It's often wise to listen closely to what others are telling us, even when we don't necessarily agree.
That said, I agree with Cali that everyone deserves a second chance. He's a young teen who is still learning about life, and hopefully he has learned from his mistakes. My suggestion is to observe his actions, rather than what he's saying to you. Anyone can tell you they've changed, and they love you, and they will do anything for you. Observe closely how he actually treats you - not just now, when you both are googly-eyed for each other. : ) After six months to a year of dating, once the mask comes off and the real person starts to emerge. It's easy to pretend to be someone you're not...for a while.
I'm rooting for you and Tatum, because I know how much you like him. Above all, I want you to be happy. Right now, he makes you happy. Just please be careful. Hugs.
I will pay close attention ot his actions. I already do but I guess I will more.
My therapist once told me men especially young ones tend to tell you that they will be the best thing that has ever happened to you but almost can never live up to their words. Tell Tatum to prove it, prove everything he claims through actions. Don't be surprised when he can't though. I myself have never met one single guy who lived up to his words.
My boyfriend has never promised me anything or told me things he thinks I want to hear. As he said, he's too old and uninterested in that promise you the world crap men throw at women. He just wants a companion to enjoy daily life with and someone to talk to everyday. Nothing more. He's already been in enough relationships to know what doesn't work and is just pointless.
Well, Tatum never said anything like we would give me the world all he said was that he wouldnt make the same mistake again.
Then let him prove it.
I'm hoping he sticks to his word and he has learned from his past mistakes. Unfortunately you can't change the past. You can only live now n the present.
I hope it all works out for the two of you. You deserve to be happy. You have been through alot in your life and I only want the best for you.
Much love to you.
