Episode.

Had a bad episode today.  Realizing that I have been on the depressed side of my illness. Fighting with my boyfriend has caused a lot of stress in my life. As I suffer from sleep apnea and I feel asleep with out wearing my CPAP mask I found myself unaware of the oncoming irritability and anger I felt today.  And continued to be miserable for the rest of my day. While my boyfriend did try to apologize to me at certain points it was no use as I was agitated to the point were I did not want to be in my relationship anymore saying things such as I was not worth it and I am not meant to be in a relationship with anyone.  I sat down later on this evening and took a new look at my mental illness. What came to light is medication alone is not going to help me. It's not a manageable way to think.  I have not been eating healthy, meditating, sleeping right or keeping stress down to a minimum.  I did however get some good ideas after reading and realizing that my illness was being effected more so by certain things.  I am going to stay with my group here on DailyStrength, journal, take my medication, start sleeping better, keep a mood log, work out a bit by going for walks and if my boyfriend is interested in helping and supporting me then maybe we can go to counselling together? However I am at this point still feeling down and unhappy. :(

Being in a state of agitated depression is the worst! You are worth being and having a relationship so long as the person is supportive of you!! Hang in there and do the things you listed exercise and sleep affects our bp imo as much as meds alone. HUGS!!
