EPIPHANY!!! SUNDAY, JANUARY 6, 2013
EPIPHANY!! HOPE I CAN FIND KING CAKE SOMEWHERE!! this should be the beginning of two months of mardi gras!
stayed at richard's yesterday and relaxed with the cats. another house that is in jeopardy whenever that will start. unreal. meant to bring over salts for the water, and i forgot. went to the other walmart and did the mindless thing through the store, which is a great de-stressor as long as its at night and fairly empty. picked up things like cottage cheese and flan. yum! still enjoying the holidays and the favorite foods thing. yay!
had one of those weird head things again where its like the brain just stops totally and you don't feel -- like this must be death or something. have had three of those in the passed two weeks. happychi calls them "brain changes" i call the crunchy noises and new recalls, brain changes and the brain ceasing to function to me is just death, what a weird feeling. i said to ch yesterday, we are due for a death at our office this coming year. for some reason we have someone die every 2 1/2 years like clockwork and its never expected. don't remember that happening anywhere else, though i guess it does, the more people there are, the more things happen.
was sunny and beautiful all morning and got overcast now, and looks like rain. was chilly inland, then i drive over to br's by the ocean to feed the animals and its balmy over there, got up to my house by the beach and its even warmer. love living at the beach.
spoke to br's new neighbor, only snowbirds. she tried to let the tiger kitty onto her sun porch and he sprayed everywhere. that is what happens when you don't fix a male by age 6 months. she bought dry food and was concerned about if the cats will be fed when they leave in march. she and her husband got here in october and moved in, in december. i forgot to ask her if its yearly or what. i should have told them about "reverse purchase" as they look to be the right age (over 62) and its an easy thing to get nowadays and would be cheaper to have then a seasonal rental of a house as anything seasonal or vacation are always pricey.
they are from maine. so many people from maine lately, and i bet maine-people think this cold weather (50 at night) is nothing. while the rest of us are in down jackets. lol. glad i ran into them, and that they like animals.
headed to the marina with a for a little while (the marina is mostly empty all the time for the passed couple of YEARS anyway! what a difference!) all i notice is changes in this place for the passed couple of years. so weird to see changes. its like a different place and makes me feel like moving on as its nothing that i recognize anymore. (and if it were the same the reason to move on would be, to see something new. lol.) one of my goals is to write more personal things, as i've gone totally superficial on here. so i'll need to find a way to do that. came onto ds to work on recalls, but when i have them, lately i don't write them which is dangerous as i could forget again. and when anything personal happens, i have also stopped writing most of that. (just like in real life. avoiding. not good.)
still working on my list of what i learned in 2012...never posted the one for 2011 or even 2010 i don't think, so quite behind here. lol. a is taller than me this year.

hope so, it was a huge relief to find out that they are feeding the animals too! so glad. wish i\'d known in november, i wouldn\'t have gone as often, its like 30 minutes from my house.
Those head things are weird, especially if it feels like death. I hope that doesn\'t happen anymore, but if it does, could you tell your doctor or maybe just ask your doctor what the heck is going on?
I\'m trying to do better at writing more personal things on here too. So here\'s to us both in this New year.

yeah, they are weird. seems like doctors know very little about head injuries and migraine. i got proper meds for migraine in SPAIN not in usa. and the rest was my own research. the doctors had no solutions at all.
with head injuries and recall, they say to work it out yourself, avoid stress all that kind of stuff, but the crunches, they claim you \"can\'t hear that\" well yes i do. they get really baffled. and with all sensation ceasing. hmmmm. hopefully someone in tbi will have something to tell me. it really helps being on here and trading info.
From the sounds of your recent journals, I too think you want to try something new and different and move to another location. However, we get so set in our ways and actions and even our long time friends, it is harder as we get older to leave this to start anew.
Very interesting about you head. You should write more about this when it happens.

talked to k and he doesn\'t want to try to bake another king cake because the ones he tried last year, from recipe didn\'t work out.
wonder if any company has tried putting out a mix?
also got apricot filling at the hope store, need to buy some greek fila dough i guess, have a feeling this will have to be done at k\'s as well. i have no clue, but i LOVE apricot pastries. a fave.
