Epilogue
I may have titled this wrong. This isn't really an ending....but a new beginning!
I neglected removing the bird's nest from my shed. On purpose. I wanted to see if mom would come back to the same nest again next year. I had my answer, 8 months sooner then I expected!
I went into my shed yesterday morning to do some work. While I was inside, I heard wings flapping and I thought, "Oh no! Another bird is trapped inside here some place!" A few moments later, I saw a bird fly out the door, and I thought, "Thank God, I don't have to take the time to go rescue her!", because I was buried with work and still am. I just wanted to post something before I forget the details.
I didn't put two and two together until the afternoon when I went back in and mom flew right by my head, out the door. While she was gone, I grabbed the ladder, climbed up to peek inside the nest and sure enough! More little blue eggs inside!
I thought they only did that once a year. Apparently, I was misinformed!
I thought I was done with birds and had moved on to rabbits and beyond, :) Anyway, more bird news coming, folks.
God Bless

Woot!!!..... That's lovely......xo
Well, Bob, looks like you are going to be a Father again, lol. Maybe this time you will have triplets or more. Keep us informed as the saga continues. Actually, I didnt think they would have more than one family a year either. How little we know as mere humans.
To be honest, I was glad when the last ones moved on....There was no empty nest depression for me! I was glad to get my shed back without worrying about inconveniencing the kids!
mama bird knew where the right place was for her to be....................................................Bob's place :) (his shed), smart bird !
More bird news, bob? Awesome!
