Enjoying the joys of gardening, and a sweet week :)

Happy Thursday! :) Enjoying a nice iced tea, and relaxing after doing some gardening today :) tending the plants :) i'm in the gardening zone, and in gardening heaven! :) i love it! :) We're gearing up for a super fun baking friday adventure tomorrow with the kids :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) It's almost time to bake! bake! bake! :)
Hi angel friends! :) iced tea cheers! on this nice peaceful thursday :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a nice day :) it's been a great, active week, with lots of nice things going on, with family, friends, and nature :) my sister Lisa treated me to a nice iced tea this morning, from mcdonalds :) it's so nice of her :) it's gotten very warm outside here today, into the upper 80's :) the plants really love this nice warmth :) This morning, i blossomed into some nice light gardening, before it began to get much warmer as the day went on :)
i wore my garden mask, as i gardened today :) to protect my sinuses and my mouth/tooth area :) the birds were up early this morning, singing happily :) lots of beautiful nautre, that really shines this time of the year :) one of my favorite joys about gardening, is these golden days of spring, before summer officially arrives :) This is the time of the season, when you can see the plants really flourishing :) sunflower sprouts a few weeks ago, are now nearly 1 foot tall! :) it's so cool! :) our plants have been enjoying the nice warmth, and also love the water nourishment :)
Today, i put some nice organic soil, around the stem bases of the plants :) this is one of the great gardening tips my dad taught me :) we love to use lots of organic soil :) i put the soil around the stem bases of the plants :) when it rains, or when we water the plants, the nutrients from the soil, seeps into the ground, and helps nourish the roots of the plants :) i was enjoying the gardening this morning :) i feel very proud, as i garden, and seeing the plants, and how well and happy they are :) they are really healthy :) some of our sunflowers are over 2 feet tall already! :) next tuesday, i want to select 2 sunflowers, for the sunflower sun race :) it's gonna be lots of fun :)
my dad covered our blueberry bushes, to protect our blueberries :) Each year, the birds have been eating lots of blueberries. we got some nice netting to cover the bushes, and we have many nice blueberries growing :) i'm so thrilled too, to see some gourds pumpkins sprouts, and also our corn plants are growing wild! :) i'm so hopeful, for some pumpkins, and corn to grow :) We have some tomato plants, and pepper plants, with blossoms :) i look forward to seeing some tiny tomatoes, and peppers beginning to grow :) in our front yard garden, i put some organic soil around the stem bases of the plants too :) We have many morning glory flowers sprouts growing. :) it's gonna be so incredible, to see when these plants, grow amongst our snowball bush, and we'll see those bright beautiful blossoms, mixing in with the snowball bush blossoms :) it's gonna be wonderful to see during summer season :)
Our fruit trees, raspberry bushes, and grapevines are doing amazing :) we have so many apples, peaches, and pears growing :) oh my! :) i see some branches, loaded with golden delicious apples :) The nature is very rewarding :) i've been taking in, so many beautiful sights, of nature, while gardening, and listening to the birds singing :) i saw this beautiful butterfly in our front yard yesterday, and it was such a joy to see, and knowing that the butterfly is enjoying our yard and gardens, it warmed my heart :) This upcoming weekend, i want to garden some more :) my dad and i may go over to malerba's farm, to see if we can buy some more peppers/tomato plants, to add into our gardens, and maybe some cucumber plants too :) We love loading up our gardens :) i'm going to be adding more soil, near our string beans plants, in our garden that is on the side of our addition/driveway :) i'm pumped up, to be getting deeper into the gardening season :) it's a really special feeling :) i gave our plants a nice watering today :) They are very happy, and with the warm weather, they're flourishing and growing very nicely :)
We're enjoying a nice peaceful thursday :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) today for lunch, i enjoyed some nice soup, and mashed potatoes :) i'm doing well, with eating soft foods :) my mouth/tooth area is sensitive, but it's definitely healing :) i'm thankful :) i've been hanging out with my mom and dad often this week, and also enjoying my writing times, and writing to friends here on ds :) You all are very special to my family and i :) i've had some great talks on the phone this week too :) it's fun, and nice catching up with friends :) my allergies are a bit severe, but my allegra tablet is helping me :) i didn't garden for too long today, as when it's very warm/humid, the air quality tends to be bad, and can affect many, including people with allergies. i'm doing ok, and keeping cool :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do, for my family and i :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP HAPPY FRIENDSHIP HUG :) Tomorrow's baking friday :) The kids and i are going to bake some nice treats :) There's many more great things to look forward too, with family, friends, and nature :)

Happy Garden Smiles :) The plants are doing wonderful, growing, and flourishing :) i tended our plants today, and watered the plants :) it's very warm/humid weather in the upper 80's. it's nice keeping cool, having a refreshing iced cold drink, after gardening :) i look forward to doing some more gardening this upcoming weekend :) i took some new pictures of our plants today to share with everyone :)

It's so cool to see, how tall some of the sunflowers have began to grow :) We have a few sunflowers, at 2 feet tall :)
