Enjoying college

I am enjoying college and I just talked to a school counselor. I was planning ahead bout future classes. I also talked about the topic of relationships. I told him how I felt and I'm glad I did because I clearly didn't see what there was. College really opened my horizons not just academically but also in life.
he gave me some good advice and examples. He pointed out the purposes of my parents intentions. Now I understand more, I feel more grateful and appreciative of the life and parents that I have. My counselor knows who i am and I state my opinions and it's nice talking to him.
i feel I am healing slowly from all the battles  and wounds I had with depression and self harm. Most importantly he gave me advice that was very useful and I am glad I continued my education to college. College really opened up my views on life and I feel my life has changed in the most incredible way. I also feel there is a point in living and pursuing your dreams  and goals.
I feel happier than I was before. I am recovering and healing. The best part of  all is that I don't have to pay for professional therapy sessions. It's all for free and I don't have to pay a single cent. It has helped my emotional well being and my counselor believes that I am a very bright young lady. I also told him that I believe most guys get attracted to me mainly because of my beauty or looks.
And he told me something interesting. Girls mature faster than guys and he told me that it's important for me to protect myself. Most men especially older ones, they are not very mature and they mostly want to do what couples do and I do understand where he is making his point. I know my counselor means sex or intimacy but since it is school, he is putting it in appropriate terms instead directly saying sex. Mosltly, I believe most men get attracted to me mainly because of my looks and not really seeing who I am. I told my counselor about that and he said to take time.
He told me to take more time and I do believe in what he says. I've talked to my parents about this topic before and they are saying the same thing. At first I felt a bit stubborn because I thought they were being overprotective and I understand why. Now that I am getting self help, I am actually listening. And I am taking it to consideration and doing what is best for me.
School has opened so many doors for me and I am starting to learn more about myself as a person. I am very happy with school and I also talked to him about the in laws how they don't get along much with each other. He said most families are like that.
My point is the point in my life right now, I feel like I am not alone. And again, I can get therapeutic talks with my school counselor instead of going to professional therapy and spending thousands of money for sessions. one of my professors also gave me great advice in getting Help for myself.
I am happier than I was before and I feel there is a point in living. After all of my suicide attempts, I feel incredibly lucky to still be alive. With college, I feel I am taking chances and making myself happy. I am glad I made incredible friends on this site. Thank u for all your support. If it wasn't for you, I wouldnt be where I am now. I feel so lucky and definitely happier.
much love xx

Junk food is ok now and then , you just need to go for a run or do some kinda cardio to burn off the bad and turn the good bits into muscle before it settles as fat , cardio is also good for your heart and soul , just don\'t overdo it . Just remember ballance . ;-)
