Energy - why does it come and go at random?
Thankfully, the last couple of days I have my oomph back. I hate, hate, hate it when I have no energy or motivation. I spent about 5 days on the couch barely able to move. Not so much from pain, but just lethargy, and it pissed me off something chronic. It's like " c'mon you can get up off your butt and go and plant those plants you bought last weekend before they dry out" or " I'll sweep the floor after I've had lunch" or....... and on and on. It was like I was comatose, lol. Anyway, now I have my energy back and I've been cleaning and tidying and visiting and feeling heaps better. I even started looking a little more into setting up my VA business. I have booked an appointment for next week to get unemployment, it's been 8 weeks since I've officially worked. My sister and her kids and my aunt are coming down on Monday arvo for a week, staying a few kms away, so we will be able to catch up - I'm looking forward to that. It's gonna be hot weather too, so perfect timing for them to be at the beach. Today's drama..... Dale - of course. He phoned me around 9pm to say he'd been burnt and did I have anything for burns, blah blah. He is such a drama queen....... I never know how serious any of his stuff is when he calls, but he did sound like he was in pain. He didn't have any money to go to the doctor and wouldn't let me take him, Well after about 10 mins I called him back and he was in more pain, so I told him to stay there, I was coming to get him. We got to the surgery, last ones in. He has 1st degree burns on his right arm and leg, and singed eyelashes and brows. He is a very luck boy. They had lit a bonfire in the backyard and something exploded...... apparently it was so loud the neighbours called the emergency services. Two firetrucks, an ambulance and the police turned up. Gawd I tell ya, that boy sure knows how to have a show. The firies put the fire out and Dale thought he wasn't too bad, but as time went on he was in more pain. The doc wanted to give him morphine but he decided against it, and got some panadeine forte. They put some anti burn cream on and bandaged him up. He has to go back daily to be re-dressed for a few days.He is one lucky little fella. Of course, I had been out for lunch and got stuck into the garlic bread, cos who do I ever breathe over????? Well the doctor and the nurse, duh!!! Well that's enough excitiment for one day, off to bed shortly, hopefully I will sleep tonight after last night's 4hour debacle.
