Energized

I was able to go to the conference after all.  The airport I was to fly into closed all flights from our area but I was fortunate to be able to fly into another a bit further away.  The conference was awesome.  Two and a half days of back to back sessions.  Some I wish I had attended and others I wish I hadn't.  But all in all it was great.  Met a lot of great people!
Even on the way home I ended up sitting next to a drug counselor on the shuttle back to the airport.  It so happened he's from our area and was on the same flight.  Of course, he was at the conference.  I explained to him our situation and wants me to have coffee with him.  Not sure what he can do.  Not sure if I want to hear it. As much as I hide behind my husband's desire to ignore the situation - I'm finding it easier to do myself.

Wow--good for you. It does put new energy into a person to get with others, and it\'s fortunate your trip turned out the way it did.
I sure can relate with wishing all our \'problems\' would fade for a week or so, and we\'d all have blissful holiday seasons. So ride the happy tide for a while...
