Energized

Although it's been a rough road this year and I know that there are bound to be some more "stuff" to deal with this year and beyond, at the moment I'm in a good place.  "One day at a time" helps me "to stay in the moment" and because this is so ~ I am looking ahead for all the positive things I know are on the horizon.
I know I've come a long way because I realized that the doomed "what if" destructive thoughts not only didn't come true (more than half the time) but that if something bad did come to pass ~ there was nothing I could do about it anyway.
That said ~ even the positive things I have in mind that keeps me energized may not happen as I have planned. And I am really okay with that.  I used to get frustrated in my advocacy work when people wouldn't listen to me, or help when things weren't working the way I thought they should, but no more.  It's so freeing. Although I've heard it many times ~ I came to know through my faith and experience that I am not even in control even in my advocacy work.  I believe that God will show me the way and send me to the people who can help me.  I am seeing things happening now.  It will be interesting to see how they will pan out.

Well, I checked last night and didn\'t see an entry, so the system is a bit goofy right now.
I have been immersed in condo issues again, so quite busy. I see your family has had their issues as well. I am glad to see you are remaining optimistic! So true that half the doom and gloom we think will happen doesn\'t. A good opportunity to work the \'faith muscle\' more. And I say that for myself as well.
Hope your husb. finds another outlet for his stress. I was reading recently that sometimes exercise that gets our heartrate up can get us into panic attack mode when we are under stress, just because the heart rate is up. Geez, and on the other hand, we are told to exercise to get rid of our stress. Pick one, I guess.
