End of July
Father-in-law's birthday is the 31st. We're having breakfast with him on the 1st of August. Then he is invited up for breakfast with Brad (son) and Wendy (daughter) on the 3rd. Both of their birthdays are in August - the 9th and the 12th. They were born one year and three days apart. They were so cute when they were little. They were best of friends. Still are. Which as a mom makes me soooo very happy. I love that the kids are so close.
Frank (my father-in-law) is really great too. He has the best stories. He is pure Sicilian. His grandparents are all immigrants. His mom and dad met in the US. Frank grew up in Niagra Falls in a neighborhood that was pretty much pure Sicilian. You can let your mind wander a bit about his friends and neighbors and the things your mind wanders to are mostly true. Frank was not involved, but friends and family . . . So many great stories. I love that man. And what a wonderful husband and father. He wrote his wife a poem every day. Many of them were written on paper plates while he was drinking his coffee and waiting for her to awaken. He taught my husband how to treat me, and my mother-in-law taught Bob how to treat women in general. And I am completely in love with my husband. Lucky lucky lucky me.
Today I have bills to pay. I am happy that we have enough money in the bank to pay them. It's a good day.

What a blessing to find and have such a good example of what a father and husband should be. I too have a wonderful father in law, maybe not quite as amazing as yours :) but its one of the reason I decided to maryy my husband. We a man is rasised by a man that clearly respects his wife, and has values, its a good sign that you have a keeper. Im so happy for you and happy that your having such a wonderful life. Gods Blessings.
Dee, I am so glad the birthday celebrations were fun and enlightening as well. and that Frank is a great story teller. Every family needs someone who can tell stories It sounds like Frank has that role in the family. I am glad he was raised to show respect for those around him (male and female) that shows he is a true gentleman. Your husband is a lucky man to have you. So you were both lucky. Take care and keep smiling, Bill
