Encouragement when feeling forsaken by God

Just finished reading Isaiah 62.  Very encouraging especially the verse 4 "It will no longer be said to you, Forsaken," Nor to your land will it any longer be said, "Desolate"...For the Lord delights in you,...  Also, if I understand it we are supposed to keep trying and not give up according to verse 6,7 ...."You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
Another interesting encouragement was we bought a pair of used washer and dryer from used appliance dealer.  I had to take the back panel off the dryer to attach the power cord and on the inside at the bottom was a metal coin with the "serenity prayer" stamped on it.  Pretty cool...
