enbrel

well over a month ago my rhumie prescribed Enbrel,I have been going through the motions of getting it ever since,first I had to go through my insurance(medicare advantage plan)just to find out my copay would be 700.00 going to 1500.00 amonth so then I was told to apply to the Encourage foundation,what a pain,they lost my paper work 3 times every time I call I am on hold for at least 45 minutes,well I just was told I have been approved until the end of the year and then I have to start the whole thing over grrrr!!!!! the first guy told me to start next month to make sure I didn't have  a gap in my medication but now I am told I can't apply until after the first of the year,for some reason this stuff is very stressful to me and we all know what stress does,at this point I feel so weary I just don't know if it is worth the effort,ofcourse that is even if I can tolerate it I have tried 8 other meds and had allergic reactions to them all.My last bout of scleritis has left me with some permanent sight loss and my eye doc.says I must get on medication or I could end up losing my eye so why do they make it so hard for us,I know many of you are much sicker than me so I shouldn't be complaining but sometimes it is just so friggin hard.
