empty weekend
I wanted to check in. Sometimes I can't because I'm so busy with school - grades were due, etc. etc., and this weekend I decided to just do NOTHING regarding schoolwork. I adore my students, they keep me going, but once in awhile I just need a break, where I'm not a teacher for two solid days....
Also, sometimes, admittedly, I'm not on here because it brings up too much emotion for me, and I try to avoid it. That's not good, so that's why I decided to do an entry, even though I know I'll get emotional writing this.
...So w/this very small break I'm giving myself this weekend from schoolwork, I have more time to lounge, which is nice, but also more time to think...and think. I've missed Juno so much this weekend. I know I sound like a broken record. You all know how I feel so I won't get into it...
My kitties, Ziggy and Marley, are learning their names and are so sweet. Ziggy is a lovebug and even Marley (the shyer one) is coming around, giving me hugs and "nosies" and sitting on me when I lie down on the couch. I am trying to accept this new chapter in my life with them.....I am trying to accept that life keeps going on, even when you don't want it to, and I just have to hold onto my memories of Juno and be grateful.
It's been over 4 months. It seems like forever ago, and yet it's really no time at all. I miss his face, I miss his personality, his different voices and meows. He knew me and understood me. It was a special bond.
That's all I can bear to write for now. Though I don't write that often, I want to reiterate that I read all of your updates, I send you all mental prayers and good vibes, I feel all of your sadness and I carry it with me, because I empathize completely. This website has done me wonders -- just knowing I can come here and vent makes me feel better. So thank you again for everything.
Hugs and peace to you.
Kristin xoxo
