Employment inquiries

I was wondering if anyone in here had had a Pre-employment physical exam? Should the doctor administer a blood test and find out about my medical issue, will this disqualify me for the position am applying for?
The reason am concern is because am about to be certified as a LEO. If anyone have an answer your critics will be more than welcomed.
