Emotional, sick and just tired....
Creeping toward week 16.... Still can't believe I am getting so close to the half way mark. Still can't believe it sometimes. I am officially in all maternity pants and just got a mother load of clothes from my sister in law and good friend. Doesn't look like I will need to actually buy much more, which makes me happy to be saving some money.
In all the changes going on, I still have days where I am sicker than sick. I am so thankful to be pregnant and be sick, but with only two weeks until the school year starts, I just pray that the sickness subsides. I have been do emotional lately, I feel like a nutcase. I had a 4 hour training this morning and started crying when I left my little guy at my friend's house. I find myself so short tempered with DH lately and just wished he would "get" what I am going through physically and emotionally. Last night we got in a fight over the nursery already. I have working to clean out our office and get it ready for him to move the desk and other furniture. He, however, doesn't see the need to take the desk and computer out and move it to the guest room. I got so pissed off at him and just started bawling. We have a four bedroom house for crying out loud, so even with a new baby we will be able to keep the guest room. I told him I refuse to have a computer in our children's room. It comes down to how we were raised differently, and it just infuriates me. It means moving and getting rid of furniture, which I can't do myself.... Argghhh, I just wish he would get on board with me and the baby. I think he is still trying to grasp the reality of it all because he hasn't been to my last two appointments, so hasn't heard the heartbeat in person or seen the baby move on the ultrasound. He has started to have major anxiety issues since we got the positive test, and when I start to talk about baby and the future he stops talking... I want to shake him sometimes because this I'd our dream come true, something he himself has prayed for for so long. It should be the happiest time of our lives, but instead of that joy that we should be sharing, I am just do frustrated with him.

Oh hun, you have so much to deal with and then on top of it you don\'t feel well, its no wonder you are so emotional right now!
I havent\' been in your shoes but I can imagine that its nearly impossible to remain calm while pregnant. But try to be easy on yourself and DH. This is a HUGE change for him as well. It would be great if our hubbies would process and deal with things the way we think they should but unfortunately this is the real world and they process change, information and just about everything else very differently from us.
It seems to me that the stress you are feeling or the disconnect with your hubby is likely very normal. Afterall, you are both venturing into unknown territory which is very unnerving and although its a good stress, its still stress!
Try to relax, maybe invest in some books to read or relaxation courses. I just picked up a book titled Babyproofing your Marriage. I\'m not preg yet but my marriage is extremely important and want to be sure I am preparing every aspect of my life as much as I can!
Sending encouragment and prayers your way.
I remember getting so pissed at my DH when I was pregnant because he got my Subway sandwich all wrong. I mean, I was ready to sign the divorce papers. Not only do the normal pregnancy hormones make us crazy but we also have all the added emotions of the struggle we had to get pregnant to deal with. Unfortunately they will never \"get\" what we are going through but on the other hand I am sure we will never really grasp what they are going through. We\'re in the same car in this journey as them but we\'re obviously looking out different windows!
Are you taking any nausea medicine? Mine made me so tired but I couldn\'t function without it. I did learn if I took mine at night I was usually good the next day. Maybe that can help you when school starts. I\'ll keep my fingers crossed that it subsides by then.
