Emotional Balance
I have recently come to realize every feeling I have is felt to extreme measure...
Anger: Learn to be mad without fuming
Sadness: Sad, disappointed, let down? not over-come with grief, despair
Physical Pain: hurt
Feelings Hurt: offended, emotions hurt, cry... not scream yell, break things, lash out, scheme to hurt back passive-agressively
Grief: just that grief
ENDING HYPOTHESIS: I do not have to allow my emotions to overtake me, consume me, or overpower me any longer. The interesting thing is that if it had not been for all my life's experiences since I quit allowing alcohol to exert power and authority over me and everything I have undergone in treatment of this illness I never would have realized this. It has taken all of it to get me where I am today. But now that I have I am so free and grateful to God for allowing me to see this. I pray I may never forget and exercise this empowerment which feels new to me.
