Emotional

Today I went to go see my chiropractor. I was so happy and grateful I met my doctor. I thanked him and was feeling positive that the tension in my neck is gone and my hips feel like there is more movement. But the reality to my demise is I have to pay $400 just for massages for 6 sessions. I only get 15 more sessions with my chiropractor then I have to pay out of pocket. $55 dollars is alot for a 10 minute neck crack and lower back crack.

I'm a stay at home mother with two younglings. One is 3 and the other is 1. My husband works 12 hours every day just to make ends meet. I qualify for Medicare and I thought I would be covered for everything. But I'm not.

It's not as if I need to keep getting my back cracked. But I do believe it is important for my nerves and muscles to be flowing again. I had corrective surgery for my scoliosis when I was 13. I've had my rods for 11yrs and counting. I had lots of statica pain when I was pregnant. Just sitting on toilet was painful.

I guess what makes me so emotional is the fact that I didn't ask to have scoliosis. And even if I had surgery to correct it, it does not guarantee no damage done. It just makes me so upset to see I do have a medical condition and feel so hopeless and alone to reach out for help. Can anyone relate to me? I've never joined a chat group or have had a good support system about this stuff.
